SHADOW COPIES

is a way of recovering the files/folders deleted from a network share. If the file is local, then shadow copy will not work, then local restore will work. Shadow Copies will work only for network share file or folders. it will keep 64 versions of same files, if they are created at different time
share a file on nw->
right click on you file from your nw->properties->click on previous versions tab
